Bio: My Name is Chris, aka Dr. Yo-Yo. I got the name in the mid 90’s while working at a toy store. Kids would bring me there broken yo-yo’s and I would fix them for free (string, bearing, axle, ect). It just stuck, and before long I was being called that everywhere. I used to Manage a Yo-Yo store in the Southern California Area (Irvine Spectrum) and did a few schools and malls with THP in the Late 90’s before the Pokemon vs Yo-Yo war decimated the majority of the industry we all know and love. I later taught a class in Stockton in 2000, again, Pokemon stole the kids attention. I now manage this website, teach yo-to classes when I can, perform at events and birthday parties under the same stage name I used in Southern California (Dr. Yo-Yo). I love Yo-Yoing and the industry, and would love nothing more then to bring it back to the glory it was in the late 90’s.  My goal for this site is to bring yo-yo news to the forefront for all yo-yoers to find, while keeping navigation simple enough for the uninitiated to still understand the industry.  I am available for shows and can be contacted via the information above.
