The Little Evil 2 – Review

Yoyo Zeekio is at it again with another amazing throw.  After the success and feedback of the first release, YYZ has decided to revisit their collaborative design with HSpin just to bring to you the Little Evil 2.  A very undersized yo-yo (A little bigger than a quarter) that really plays.  Unlike similarly sized do all your favorite tricks

After the overwhelming popularity of the Little Evil release, yoyo Zeekio & Hspin are looking to take this design just one step further by maximizing play-ability while maintaining all the positive characteristics of its predecessor.  Undersized, high-performance, and affordable seems to be an outdated concept these days, but the Little Evil is putting that assumption to the test.  One of its most interesting traits is the solid stainless steel body. The raw color holds that classic, elegant look accentuated by the traditional organic butterfly profile.  A truly throw experience without sacrificing any quality for gimmicks.

SPECS: Weight: 60g

String Gap: 4.8mm

So what’s better than the first little evil?

Well, besides the slick new engraved logo the specs seem to be pretty close to the original, which in this case is a wonderful thing.  Instead of the original narrow profile, the Little Evil 2 has had its width and gap size bumped up just right. Rather than making tricks more challenging, it demands consistency. With the added step in the catch zone a greater overall width was achieved to fit the hand cozier while creating room for a wider gap for more technical play than previously possible.

Overall, I love this yo-yo.  It’s a fierce looking devil that can pack a mean punch with it’s truly surprising stability and incredible spin times.  The best part: It keeps the wallet full and not your pocket.
