Pictures and FULL Results from Bay Area Classics 2010 #bacyoyo

Pictures by Heidi Hensley (and a few from Chris Allen)

Keep an eye out for video’s of the freestyles. Gentry’s Prelim scored 100%, Jensen, Yuuki, Tyler, JonRob, and Gacek killed it. AND, I think Augie’s 1a was his cleanest, most impressive freestyle ever. The judges must have just passed out after a minute because of his awesomeness and woke up a minute later.
YoYoGirl131 has a good amount of the freestyles on her youtube channel.

I saw Gabe with Tripod in hand so I am sure that Sector-Y will have some good stuff up soon.

UPDATE: Gabe has uploaded all the freestyles in HD on Sector-Y

Thanks for a great contest Stu, Paul, Cappy, and Nathan!

Thanks so much to the organizers (SPINDOX KILLIN IT) I had so much fun. Everybodys freestyles that I watched seemed to go pretty darn well, although I will admit that I was more focused on kickin it than I was on the actual competition. Standing next to JonRob while he shouted at Boxy during Boxy’s freestyle made me laugh so hard I almost fell down the stairs. And watch out for the up and coming companies that showed at BAC, Yomerica Spindustries, VsNYYC, and (nameless company) all are producing really cool original throws.

Gentry killed it, he rocks. All of the Chico crew represented well. Nick did awesome, Grats to Zac and Zach and their second places. Of course Augie had the crowd rockin’ and rollin’ for both his warm up (5th place in 5a) and his 1a style which I can’t wait to see the replay on.

The boys from the factory in Chandler, AZ left a pretty big footprint on that competition. I couldn’t throw a yo without hitting someone in a black T-shirt with YYF on it.

Gentry Stein right under Ganc? Wow, be beat a lot of big names. Impressive! Sounds like a fantastic competition, so sad I missed it!
