Yes, the kind of axle you find on a Rollout. Then, one beautiful day you are playing on concrete, you hear a strange noise and you don’t have the time to ask yourself “What the…” and the yoyo’s halves part and you can only see them rolling on that same concrete

can’t see clearly but the bearing seems to be similar to Crucial grooved bearing

i really really really like that. Actually it looks about as long as a YYF 44 axle, and they work just fine!
