did you guys notice Thad went to the trouble of making the flames go the same direction as opposed to the Hspin flame layout?
Not that it would matter to some, but to me it sure looks slick and worth the extra time he/they took.

It’s cute, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t make much difference because the flames will actually be rotating in the wrong direction on every other throw.

I actually prefer the look of them going opposite directions.

P.S. - I’d like to note that I think the effect is really nice, regardless of direction in which the flames face. I’ve seen some other sublimation ano on yoyos and it’s a neat trick.

I’ve been out of town on business and vacation since about the time of the Bay Area Classic. This weekend I sauntered into BiH for some Saturday fun and found a whole case of new yo-yos. They have the latest Chico YYC Big Hitter, Narwhals, a bunch of new YYF goodies like the revamped Severe and all kinds of new throws.

But the one that took my breath away was far and away the 5 Alarm. In a case of awesomeness, this thing stands head and shoulders above the rest. This is a true piece of art that throws like like a gem.

For what it’s worth, the flame direction seems in line with the way it should be (they never put backward flames on a car do they?). When I throw it goes so fast you can’t tell anyway.
