    East Asians have iffy feelings with the number 4, so much that they avoid it as much as they can. In Chinese, the pronounciation for 4 and death are homophones…which is believed to have super bad luck and omen. It seemed to pass on to Korean culture and all..ther:D

    ahh! this is true . . . I shoulda remembered that. nice.

    the pronunciation for four is almost the same as for death (4th tone as opposed to 3rd tone), so it’s a bad-luck number, haha
