The Turning Point Houska

I am going to quote here

The Houska is the latest model to come from former 3A World Champion and living legend Kentaro Kimura’s Turning Point. All Turning Point throws up till now have been made in Japan but the Houska is made in the Czech Republic.

Well, it is gorgeous, and Turning Point makes killer throws. has them for ~$95

I have been in the Bodyshop Business for about 40 years; 23 as a Custom Painter. I have seen thousands of Painted/colored/powdercoated/dyed/ano’d/plated/polished………………. ‘things’. Colorways run through my mind; constantly. My girl is a: sewing, knitting, needlepointing, antique restoring; Freak. We Constantly ‘talk color’. She does not/has not shared my interest in yoyos over the last 13 years, but she constantly sees the yoyos I: have,, yoyos I have for modding,, yoyos I have traded for,, yoyos I have called her over to the Monitor,’ to check out this color; haha,, etc. When we go out to eat; we even study the colorschemes of the Restaurants: walls, chairs, tables, carpet, etc. Colors, colors everywhere. < And we don’t always agree on ‘color choices’. BUT, one thing she does agree with me on, without a doubt, is that some of the Absolute Ugliest Colors either of us has ever seen; have been Yoyo Colors; lololol. I Fully agree with Yoyochucker. An Ugly Colorway will discourage me more than the price of a yoyo.

Speaking purely on the asthetics of actually alot of yoyos lately they look terrible. speckles and acidwash looks horrible escpecially with some of these hideous colors that have been coming out. i mean it looks like alot of these some anno guy at the shop tripped and dropped the yoyos in a vat of reject colors or something.

imo terrible annos and Turning point is not the only one doing it.
