    Sounds awesome, can’t wait!
@Dave, does that mean it will be similar to the old Chop Shop edition?

MEGA-STOKED!!! Always loved Dave’s stuff, and I can’t wait to try the revamps!

@Me, the brass bearing-seat insert thingies (called SPRs, for Spacer Pad Response) hold flush friction stickers – note the lip around the bearing seat to lift the bearing out away from the stickers a bit. They can certainly be recessed to take silicone, but then you also have to recess some sort of spacer into the body of the yoyo around the axle for a bearing seat. For most people who are even remotely “old-school” by modern standards, pads work fine and if you’re stuck on silicone, you can find silicone pads pretty easily or figure out how to make your own.

I for one love SPRs. Then again, I was a big Buzz-On fan. And I’m a big fan of pads, and stock FHZs…

I don’t think that these new yo-yos will work right without recessed silicone response. Anyone know anything about this?

Wow. Those colors are so pretty. That green/mustard and the blue? Gotta get at those. The caps look promising as well…

Any actual details? I’m really excited for some (hopefully) super plastic yoyos.
