C3YoyoDesign to release a Di Base 2
I love the DiBase. Not just because it was the 2012 Cal States yo-yo, but because it was an awesome and affordable metal that outperformed many many yo-yos twice its price. At the Terengganu Regional YoYo Contest this upcoming weekend in Malaysia, the DiBase gets a sequel.
Here are the specs:
- Weight: 67.6 grams
- Width: 41.2 mm
- Diameter: 52.2 mm
- Gap width: 4.3 mm
- Bearing Size: C
Compared to the original Dibase:
- Weight: 66.8g (without o rings)
- Width: 41.31mm
- Diameter: 52.38mm
- Gap: 4.26mm
Looks like a few minor tweaks, but with the bigger gap and the extra weight, I can’t wait to give this version a throw.

I LOVED the first Berserker. I consider it to be one of the best yoyos ever made. A minute ago I checked facebook and saw this picture and my mouth dropped.
Berserker fighted very hard with his last rage for the World in Doomsday. He won the battle but almost lost all his strength and dying….Suddenly, there is a bright light from heaven shine on him. Berserker “REBORN” with “EXTREME” power! Now Berserker RX stand and fight for the New Era!!!!!
In early 2012, we released Berserker, the bi-metal yoyo designed for the ulitmate performance. It brought noise and ideas on competitive yoyo designs to the market.
On Berserker RX, we reduced the 6061 ratio on body and add the weight to the 7075 rings. With the heavier and new shape rings, Berserker RX will have better spin power especially on horizontal tricks due to the new weight distribution. Last but not least, Berserker RX have a more powerful binding. This make you can catch it back on your hand more comfortable after a long combo!!!

I was very excited to review this yo-yo. I’m a big fan of plastic yo-yos. In my opinion, plastic yo-yos can be just as good as metal ones. When I heard about C3yoyodesign’s first plastic my interest was piqued. A quick e-mail to the folks at C3yoyodesign and a couple of weeks later, the Alpha Crash was in my hands. Does C3yoyodesign’s first plastic have what it takes to be the alpha male, or does it crash and burn?

GLITTER – Sparkle, Brilliance and Glamour. This is the first cooperation project between C3yoyodesign, KIKSTYO and 44CLASH. We wanna design a yoyo to present how much we respect all the finalist on 44CLASH stage. They are Stars, Stars from everywhere around the world.
You may say GLITTER is smaller size Berserker without Bi-metal design. Yes, It’s true but just partly. During the meeting with 44CLASH committee and KIKSTYO at headquarter of KIKSTYO in Tokyo,Japan, we concluded that the shape of Berserker can provide a good hand feeling. At the same time, we wanna make this design ready for contest and affordable for most of the players. GLITTER has a strong binding feeling. With the 54mm diameter, player can do tricks with speed and good flexibility.
In this project, KIKSTYO in-charged in the appearance design, They chose these stuning color combinations and designed laser engraving for Glitter to add the finishing touch.
GLITTER will be first released during 44Clash Japan 2012. Worldwide limited 100pcs.

Review – The Yeah Yeah Yeah by C3YoYoDesign
I think I have reviewed enough C3yoyodeign yoyos now that you guys probably see where this review is going. Lets fact it, these guys just flat out make good yoyos. One of my favorite all time yoyos by c3 is the H5. I always imagined that he H5 stood for “High Five” and the yo-yo is so ridiculously big but plays like a sumo champ. Taking a que from the oversized H5 behemeouth is the Yeah3 (Yeah Yeah Yeah). When you break it down to the brass tacks, the Yeah3 is a non oversized version of the H5. The c3 guys got a Yeah3 in my hands a few months ago and this week I was finally able to carry it around for a review session.

Review – The Dark Sonic by C3yoyodesign
Recently I got my hands on the Capsule which was very first yo-yo C3yoyodesign ever released. I never got a chance to try it before but I had heard good things about it. Many companies don’t come out of the gate with a bang, but C3 sure did. I freaking love the Capsule, and looking back, can’t think of a single C3 yo-yo I haven’t loved. The C3 guys are killing it, and one of their latest yo-yos is the Dark Sonic.
