A modern successor to the Dark Magic with a ” ‘modernized’ Dark Magic shape – aluminum body with Titanium Rings.” (YYE Blog)
Honestly I am a bit surprised that this one few under the radar for so long. It drops tonight (19 March) over at YoYoExpert. With the high interest in all things titanium, I would have expected the Hex to have gotten a lot more attention.

YoYoJam excels at making yoyos. Even more, they excel at making plastic yoyos. With a long history of fantastic plastic throws, YoYoJam has a continuously set the standard higher and higher. Many of YoYoJam’s best throws hold the signature of long term YoYoJam team member Johnny DelValle. JD’s signature throws include the Hitman, Lyn Fury, X-Con, X-ConVict, Hitman Professional, X-Con Professional and the EneMe. Chances are that one of the yo-yos on this list was in, or is in your collection. JD and YoYoJam’s latest model is the Trigger. I got a chance to try this at Bay Area Classic, was intrigued and a few months later there was one on my doorstep.

This looks SOOOOOO COOL! I love yoyo bags. During the last boom, there were yoyo bags, slings, and more fanny packs than you can shake a stick at. Okay, so fanny packs were still a cringe worthy accessory unless you were a pro wrestler, but yeah.
I found this on Facebook. It can hold 24 yoyos and a few choice gadgets. Maybe at Nationals?

I am not even sure what this is called or if it was just a Worlds exclusive but wowsza
There is a very short list of living people who I would geek out on upon meeting. Stan lee, Mark Waid, Joss Whedon, Paul McCartney, Steve Martin and Bill Murray. These six legends were and still are a huge inspiration to me. You might notice that they are all writers in some way , shape, or form. In my opinion the most important skills a person can learn include the ability to communicate how you feel, tell a story, deliver a presentation and most importantly being able to find confidence in your own words. Writers inspire me. In yo-yoing, I get inspiration from all of you guys. Your comments, negative and positive inspire me. YoYoJam just released the new metal rimmed yo-yo called the Inspire. I have heard some people call it the best plastic metal hybrid yo-yo ever made.

When I was a kid, I was pretty much addicted to video games. The Nintendo NES just came out and I would spend hours at my aunt’s house since she had a Nintendo and I didn’t and I would play Super Mario Brothers over and over again, looking for powerups, secret pipes, and doing anything to make it to the next level. Eventually I got my own system, the TurboGraphix 16, and then the Sega Genesis. Overtime I sold, traded and purchased console systems and now as a grown man I have amassed a nostalgic console collection that induces high fives from all grown men who grew up in the Atari and NES era. This generation wasn’t trained on game Achievements, or unlockable content like todays generation, we were focused on getting to the next level.

Team YoYoJam’s own Alex Hattori recently starred on “Figure It Out,” a game show on Nickelodeon. On the show, a panel of Nick celebrities must try to guess the contestant’s special skill. Of course, Alex amazes them with his 3A skills!
